This kit is contains the same 12 slats as our standard set, however this purchase includes the 24 pieces of Stainless Steel hardware: Carriage bolts, washers, and nuts.

The Standard set of replacement slats consists of 12 pieces 48" long and 3/4" thick.  3 of the slats are 1  1/2" wide for the area behind your knees and shoulders where benches curves are more exaggerated.  The remaining 9 pieces are 2  1/8" wide for the seat and back areas.  

The bench shown in the photo in this listing is our "Standard” 12 piece kit - this fits 90% + of garden benches.

Ipe wood is nearly indestructible it’s high oil content make it impervious to moisture and insects. If left unfinished, it will turn silver similar to Teak. If a a varnish is applied it will maintain it’s deep brown color, but may require additional coats every few years. Slats are shipped sanded and ready to finish - we do not offer finishing services.
