Generations of Craftsmanship
Atkins Woodworking, LLC has been building custom furniture and beyond in Montgomery County, MD for nearly a decade. My focus is finding new challenges, conquering them, and moving on to new projects. I received formal training at RIT and have since gained real word experience as a former owner of Kurtz and Atkins Design Co.
Life these days is a balance between a full-time job, 40+ chickens, three dogs, and my kids. My "me" time these days is when I'm in my shop, tinkering away on anything.
Custom Kits Available
Kits are available with or without our stainless steel hardware kit, which uses carriage bolts to protect the hole from water intrusion and premature rot that is typically seen in modern benches with countersunk hardware.

Current wood offerings are Ipe and White Oak, and both offer excellent resistance to UV and moisture for long-lasting performance. Perfect for gardens, parks, and public spaces.
